THE BAD SEED HAS BEEN PLANTED
The Author
Ajani Snelling is the author of "BAD SEED" and other books waiting to go through the trials of formatting, editing and the final press. He is motivated by the past and excited about the future. Certainly a man that will make a mark in urban history. A new ink spot on the previously, unknown reality of the Northwest, yet the stories are all fiction.
History This young visionary began the journey of broadcasting his thoughts through music. It was within the crowded arena of a dance that Ajani (Asia-Knee)first saw the turntables in motion. Two years later, he would purchase his own. Once the tables became workable, he moved from mixing to music production. Often he would write simple rhymes to test the music created.
In a unfocused attempt at college, Ajani failed miserably, and with the birth of his son, his will to be positive slipped into a shallow grave. One thing led to another and Ajani found himself in the middle of an armed robbery looking at federal prison time.
THE AWAKING
After five years of mental focus from within the institutions of america's penal systems, Ajani emerged into the world with thoughts and idea's of growth and development. He worked and attended college with simple goals in mind majoring in journalism. In one years time, He obtained steady employment, decent shelter and even love, yet the reality of the warning signs once preached were not at the core of his foundation. Ajani would pick up with bad habits and depression as if attempting to make up for lost time. The time caught up with him not allowing the prison bunk to grow cold in his absense.
REBIRTH
During the next two years, Ajani would decide to make something happen. He spent his entire time reading, writing and maintaining good physical shape. He assisted in writing monthly newsletters on health and fitness. Gave spiritual classes to strenghten the beliefs of others as well as his own. He was also given the opportunity to teach GED classes which played a major role in his own discipline. During this time, Ajani wrote three fictional novels. The first of which, "BAD SEED" was written in four very inspirational months.
Upon release, (Feb. 19, 2006) the ball was in motion. Contacts were made and T.A.C.K. PUBLISHING became a reality. From the note pads, to the hard drives and finally the press, this self-publisher is continuing to find ways of success, one day at a time.
